The Scandinavium in Göteborg hosted this weekend’s second semifinal for Sweden’s Melodifestivalen, where two songs qualified directly to the Finals at the Globen Arena on March 10, and two were given a ticket to the Second Chance round on March 3.  As usual, broadcaster SVT put the songs that will move on in the competition on lockdown until Andra Chansen or the Final.

Going “Direkt till Globen” are:

• David Lindgren – “Shout it Out”
• Ulrik Munther – “Soldiers”

Getting an “Andra Chansen” are:

• Timoteij – “Stormande hav”
• Top Cats – “Baby Doll”

Missing out this week are:

• Thomas Di Leva – “Ge aldrig upp“
• Sonja Aldén – “I din himmel“
• Andreas Lundstedt – “Aldrig aldrig“
• Mimi Oh – “Det går för långsamt“

Next week’s Semifinal will be held in the Tegera Arena in Leksand, where we’ll see the return of Love Generation, Mattias Andréasson, and Molly Sandén, among others.
