Results: Second Semifinal in Norway
On Saturday, the second batch of hopeful Norwegian candidates took the stage in Larvik, hoping to be one of the three qualifiers to the Final of Melodi Grand Prix 2012. This was a hard-fought round, with fans singing the praises of most of them. But, in the end, only the top three could make it through, and the Norwegian audience had their say.
Qualifying for the finals of Melodi Grand Prix are:
3rd) Malin – “Crush” (Malin was Norway’s representative in 2005’s Junior Eurovision; she came in 3rd place with “Sommer og skolefri“.)
2nd) Tommy Fredvang – “Make it Better” (Tommy is an alum of “X-Factor” and “Skal vi danse?”, Norway’s version of Strictly Come Dancing”.)
1st) Plumbo – “Ola Nordmann” (Plumbo has released three studio albums, and their song “Møkkamann” stormed the Norwegian charts last year.)
We’ll see the last group of eight semifinalists next week in Florø.
